REST IN PEACE

I am truly devastated by the news of Alexander McQueens death. I don't really remember being this grief stricken by the death of a public figure since Aliyah died (yeah what!?). I know that most people don't understand why but I think it's because they don't understand the magnitude of this loss, or why it matters so much when you loose somebody so brave and so progressive in this shrinking world. Most of it goes beyond fashion and for me it's a connection with his work that is so personal and that I can't really explain. I just truly believed in his work and I hope that wherever he is, he's happy. Rest in peace Mr. McQueen.
